Who I Am

XYZ Civil is built around direct communication, careful listening, and practical engineering judgment.

My name is Jeff Dinges, PE. I’m a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) specializing in land development civil engineering.

I work directly with developers, builders, and landowners who want clear guidance, practical solutions, and honest feedback. Every project I handle is managed by me from start to finish—no handoffs, no layers, and no guesswork about who is responsible.

Whether it’s a single-lot grading project or a complex residential or commercial development, my goal is to help you navigate the technical, regulatory, and design challenges efficiently, creatively, and with confidence.

A Solo Firm, Informed by Large-Firm Experience

Before starting XYZ Civil, I worked within larger civil engineering firms and understand how those organizations operate day to day. While large firms present as teams, most projects are typically carried by a single engineer responsible for design, coordination, and follow-through.

XYZ Civil is intentionally structured around that reality. Clients receive the same level of technical rigor, design standards, and regulatory coordination expected from a larger firm—without internal handoffs, management layers, or diluted accountability.

The result is clear communication, direct access to the engineer doing the work, and consistent responsibility from initial concept through permitting and construction support.
